The client contacted Radiant Control Ltd regarding a refurbishment project involving a handsome and privately situated detached home. The property was to go through a complete refurbishment and required Wet Underfloor Heating supplied to both ground floor and first floor. Due to our versatility of Underfloor Heating systems, we can offer bespoke advise to individual project and provide the best system that supports the project requirements.
Particularly on the first floor, the requirement was for a retrofit underfloor heating system that wouldn’t raise the floor level excessively and provide good thermal output.

Our team designed and supplied SCREED-S and CP-16 Underfloor heating systems to the renewables installer on the project. We provided full loop layout design plans, so the installer and builder could install without issue.
Using Screed-S for the Ground Floor. Utilising the screed layer within a floor construction, this system is quick and easy to install and offers a fully flexible pipe matrix layout to maximise performance and floor area coverage.
For the first floor The ‘CP-16’ system is a 20mm thick ‘On-base’ panel designed to provide a diverse 16mm pipe matrix layout to maximise performance and floor area coverage. Adjoining panels are interlocked with a simple clip system to maintain pipe alignment. Ideal for both new build and renovation projects, the low-profile self-adhesive panel system can be installed on solid and timber suspended floors.
The control strategy adapted was to operate an OPEN LOOP Underfloor Heating system, which uses the water content of the Underfloor System to provide better efficiency of the Heat Pump used.

Every single project is supplied with installation guides for the designed system, and our team will be available to either come to your site if necessary or offer dedicated support by phone.
