We received an enquiry mid-morning on a Wednesday from a new prospect, a builder working on a large extension in West Bridgford, Nottingham. They came to us through a recommendation from a plumbing company we work with regularly.
The builder was on a tight schedule and wanted to start the installation that Friday. We got to work straight away, sending over the full loop design and a price by mid-afternoon. The customer signed it off and paid for it the same day, allowing us to get the order ready for a quick delivery.
Our design and technical teams immediately prioritised the enquiry. By the afternoon on Wednesday, we engineered a comprehensive loop design layout and provided a detailed quote.
The job was for a large extension that needed a reliable underfloor heating system to work alongside an existing boiler. The Screed-S system we supplied used 16mm PE-RT pipe, which was clipped directly into the floor insulation.
The customer was extremely impressed with the quality and detail of our loop layout drawing. Having a clear, accurate plan made the job much easier for the team on-site, ensuring there was no confusion during the install.
On Thursday morning at around 9:30 am, less than 24 hours after the first phone call, our team hand delivered the full kit and drawings directly to the builder in Nottingham.
Because the materials arrived early and the layout drawings were so easy to follow, the team started the installation on Friday morning as planned. The entire system was fully installed by the end of the day. The customer was delighted with our fast turnaround and great service, making this another highly successful project for us.
