Engineered specifically for heat pump and low-carbon hydronic heating installations, this 25 Litre Carbon Steel (CS) Buffer Tank acts as a thermal battery to increase overall system volume, eliminate compressor short-cycling, and optimise thermal efficiency. Compact and wall-mountable, it is an ideal hydraulic separation solution for Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP), biomass boilers, and multi-zone underfloor heating installations.
Built with a durable carbon steel body encased in high-density 20mm Polyurethane (PU) insulation and a protective PVC outer jacket, this vessel minimises standing heat loss and prevents thermal bridging. Equipped with 4 x 1.1/4″ female BSP side connections, a 1/2″ top air vent tapping, and a 1/2″ bottom drain port, it offers flexible 2-pipe or 4-pipe installation options in tight plant rooms and utility spaces.
