The Icon2 Remote Floor Sensor – Wired 47k is a high-precision temperature probe. It continually monitors the internal temperature of hydronic underfloor heating structures. Consequently, it works as an essential hardware accessory for modern climate zones. The sensor links directly to your digital room thermostat. Therefore, it allows your master controller to regulate radiant floor heat with exceptional accuracy.

We manufacture this specialised probe with a premium 47k ohm NTC thermistor element. This specific resistance rating matches the exact electrical profiles of advanced Danfoss Icon2 heating controls. Additionally, we encase the sensor in a heavy-duty, fully insulated waterproof sheath. This durable design helps the probe resist constant thermal expansion and mechanical stress inside deep floor layers. It operates reliably beneath heavy tile beds, stone flags, thick screeds, and engineered timber. Therefore, it protects your high-end decorative floor finishes against accidental overheating.

The cable layout features a generous length to ensure an easy installation. Fortunately, you can smoothly route this flexible wire through standard conduit tubes. We currently offer two shipping options to get your goods to you in a timeframe that suits:

Standard delivery to mainland UK (3-5 working days) – £9.99
Next working day delivery to mainland UK* – £11.99

*Next working day deliveries are subject to orders being placed before 1pm. The delivery window for next working day deliveries is between 8am and 5.30pm. 

All orders received after 1pm on a Friday (including weekend orders), that have upgraded to next working day delivery, will be despatched on Monday for a Tuesday delivery.

Bank holidays are treated in the same way as a non-working day, so please take this additional delivery time into account when ordering.
