The Heatbacker XPS300 Tile Board – Feed Transition Design (with 10 Channels for 16mm Pipe, 60mm Spacing) is a high-performance, low-profile underfloor heating panel engineered specifically to manage dense pipework layouts. Operating as an all-in-one insulation and structural alignment template, this specialised board acts as the primary “highway” matrix. It neatly organises and guides multiple heating loops as they leave the central manifold and transition into individual room zones.
Constructed from a premium, high-density 300kPa extruded polystyrene (XPS) core, the board features an incredibly rigid foundation that resists heavy mechanical compression. Both faces of the panel are reinforced with a tough glass fibre mesh embedded within a specialised cementitious coating. This pre-bonded cement surface provides an excellent, high-adhesion key for flexible tile adhesives. Consequently, installers can lay ceramic, porcelain, or stone floor tiles directly onto the substrate once the pipework is secured, entirely eliminating the need for separate plywood overlays or thick self-levelling liquid screeds.
The unique “Feed Transition Design” solves the common installation challenge of pipe congestion near the manifold, where multiple lines must run closely parallel. Each 20mm thick panel is precision CNC-routed to form 10 parallel, tight-radius channels spaced at narrow 60mm centre-to-centre intervals. This high-density routing safely snaps standard 16mm outer-diameter underfloor heating pipes into place, preventing them from shifting, kinking, or floating. By grouping the pipes tightly together through high-traffic thresholds and hallways, this board prevents structural cold spots while blocking downward energy loss to maximise upward thermal performance.

*Next working day deliveries are subject to orders being placed before 1pm. The delivery window for next working day deliveries is between 8am and 5.30pm.
All orders received after 1pm on a Friday (including weekend orders), that have upgraded to next working day delivery, will be despatched on Monday for a Tuesday delivery.
Bank holidays are treated in the same way as a non-working day, so please take this additional delivery time into account when ordering.
