The Heatbacker XPS300 Tile Board – Universal Design (Straights, Return, and 3 x Cross Runs) is a high-performance, low-profile underfloor heating overlay panel engineered specifically for tiled floor applications. Operating as an all-in-one insulation and pipe-alignment matrix, it allows wet underfloor heating systems to be installed directly over existing solid or timber floors without the need for extensive excavation or messy, time-consuming screeding. Constructed from a premium, high-density 300kPa extruded polystyrene (XPS) core, the board features a lightweight yet exceptionally rigid foundation capable of resisting significant mechanical and vertical compression. Both sides of the panel are faced with a robust glass fibre reinforcement mesh embedded within a specialised cementitious coating. This pre-bonded cement layer provides an ideal, highly stable key for standard flexible tile adhesives, allowing installers to lay ceramic, porcelain, or stone tiles directly onto the hardware once the pipework is secured. This specific “Universal Design” layout drastically simplifies on-site panel management and installation times. Each 20mm thick board is precision CNC-routed to form a comprehensive grid pattern consisting of straight pipe tracks, radiused loop return bends, and three intersecting cross runs. This pre-grooved infrastructure safely grips standard 16mm outer-diameter underfloor heating pipes at a fixed 150mm centre-to-centre spacing, entirely eliminating the need for separate return components, complex hand routing, or mechanical pipe staples. By forcing the heating loops up to the absolute surface of the floor structure while simultaneously blocking downward energy loss, the panel delivers an ultra-rapid thermal response time and an impressive heat output of up to 97 W/m² beneath tiled finishes.

*Next working day deliveries are subject to orders being placed before 1pm. The delivery window for next working day deliveries is between 8am and 5.30pm. 

All orders received after 1pm on a Friday (including weekend orders), that have upgraded to next working day delivery, will be despatched on Monday for a Tuesday delivery.

Bank holidays are treated in the same way as a non-working day, so please take this additional delivery time into account when ordering.
