The 230V N.C. Thermal Actuator (2-Wire) c/w VA80 Adapter (IVR) is a high-precision, electro-thermal motorized valve head engineered specifically for managing flow distribution across hydronic underfloor heating manifolds and zone circuits. Working as a dependable physical bridge between your central wiring box and individual heating loops, this actuator dynamically opens and closes specific manifold ports in response to electronic signals from corresponding room thermostats. This model operates on a standard 230V power supply and features a Normally Closed (N.C.) configuration, meaning it remains securely shut via internal spring tension when unpowered to prevent unauthorized or accidental fluid bypass. When the room thermostat calls for heat, the integrated, high-torque wax element warms up and expands, smoothly driving the valve spindle downward over a ~3.5-minute cycle to allow warm water to circulate into the floor. The kit comes complete with a premium VA80 adapter ring (M30 x 1.5), providing broad multi-fit compatibility across a wide range of industry-standard manifold designs for effortless retrofit or new-build deployment.

DELIVERY OPTIONS:

We currently offer two shipping options to get your goods to you in a timeframe that suits:

Standard delivery to mainland UK (3-5 working days) – £9.99
Next working day delivery to mainland UK* – £11.99

*Next working day deliveries are subject to orders being placed before 1pm. The delivery window for next working day deliveries is between 8am and 5.30pm. 

All orders received after 1pm on a Friday (including weekend orders), that have upgraded to next working day delivery, will be despatched on Monday for a Tuesday delivery.

Bank holidays are treated in the same way as a non-working day, so please take this additional delivery time into account when ordering.
