2. APPLICATION AND DEFINITIONS
- "Consumer" refers to an individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft, or profession.
- "Trade / Business Customer" refers to a customer purchasing goods or services for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft, or profession (B2B).
- "Goods" refers to underfloor heating components, manifolds, controls, pipework, accessories, or any other items offered for sale on our website.
3. ORDERS AND CONTRACT FORMATION
3.1. All orders placed through radiantcontrol.co.uk are subject to acceptance and availability.
3.2. Order confirmation sent via email does not signify our final legal acceptance of your order. A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods and send a dispatch confirmation email.
3.3. We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order prior to dispatch due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or failure to satisfy security checks.
4. PRICING AND PAYMENT
4.1. All prices on our website are displayed in GBP (£) and are shown both inclusive and exclusive of UK Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable.
4.2. Delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout prior to final payment submission.
4.3. Payment must be made in full at the time of order placement using an accepted payment method (e.g., Credit/Debit Card, Stripe, PayPal). Orders will not be dispatched until cleared funds are received.
5. DELIVERY AND LEAD TIMES
5.1. Standard Delivery Window: Our standard estimated lead time for delivery is 1–2 working days across mainland UK for items held in stock.
5.2. Courier Deliveries: Orders are delivered via courier. Larger or heavy goods (such as manifolds, heavy pipe coils, or palletised shipments) may require offloading assistance or suitable site access.
5.3. Delivery Dates: Any delivery dates or timescales quoted are estimates only. While we make every effort to meet the 1–2 working day estimate, Radiant Control Ltd shall not be liable for courier delays outside our reasonable control.
5.4. Inspection on Delivery: Customers should inspect all packages immediately upon receipt for visual damage. Any transit damage or missing items must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.
6. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
6.1 Consumer Customers (B2C)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- Right to Cancel: Consumers have the legal right to cancel an order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.
- Return Conditions: Goods must be returned complete, unused, in re-sellable condition, and in their original packaging.
- Return Carriage: The consumer is responsible for paying the direct cost of returning the items unless the goods are faulty or supplied incorrectly.
- Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods (or proof of return dispatch).
6.2 Trade & Commercial Customers (B2B)
For sales made to business, trade, or commercial customers:
- Return Authorisation: Returns are accepted solely at our discretion and require prior authorization from Radiant Control Ltd.
- Restocking Fee: Approved trade returns of non-faulty items are subject to a restocking and handling fee (typically 15–20% of the net goods value) to cover administration and restocking costs.
- Carriage & Packaging: Trade customers must cover all return carriage costs. Goods must be unopened, undamaged, and in original manufacturer packaging.
- Bespoke / Special Orders: Custom-manufactured, cut-to-length pipework, or non-stock special orders are strictly non-returnable unless defective.
7. FAULTY GOODS AND WARRANTIES
7.1. If any product arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact our technical support team immediately at 01530 519666.
7.2. Faulty goods will be inspected and, where applicable, repaired, replaced, or refunded in accordance with manufacturer warranties and UK statutory rights.
7.3. Radiant Control Ltd is not liable for faults or failures resulting from improper installation, failure to follow installation guidelines, or unauthorised modifications.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
8.1. Installations & Trades: Radiant Control Ltd is an equipment supplier and shall not be liable for tradesperson labor costs, downtime, lost site productivity, or indirect losses arising from delayed deliveries or component faults.
8.2. Total Liability: Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of an order shall not exceed the total price paid by the customer for the specific goods in question.
9. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
